What RTmet does
Mean Analytics is developing RTmet, a real-time metabolomics system for bioprocess monitoring and control.
It combines online sampling and feeding with mass spectrometry and data analysis. That lets biomanufacturers track nutrient depletion, metabolite accumulation, toxin build-up and overall process health as it happens.
RTmet captures ten times more chemical features than competing approaches, giving precise, label-free monitoring of hundreds of compounds, with data linked directly to titre, feedstock concentrations and key intermediates.
